Calcium deficiency is one of the most common nutritional problems in pet birds. Hagen® Crushed Oyster Shell can be used as a dietary addition to help provide high amounts of calcium. It is also recommended during mating season to help support strong, hard eggshells.

This supplement can be mixed with your bird’s seed mixture during the daily fresh feeding or sprinkled in a small quantity on the bottom of the cage three times weekly.
