Roudybush California Blend Mini
Description
Roudybush California Blend Mini is a wholesome pellet diet blended with dried peaches, apricots, plums, bell peppers, carrots, tomatoes, and cabbage. This formula combines Roudybush Daily Maintenance pellets with dried fruits and vegetables for a flavorful food option for small parrots, conures, cockatiels, and lovebirds.
This diet may be used when switching your bird from its old diet to Roudybush. It may also continue to be fed to adult birds that are not laying eggs or feeding chicks. Lories and lorikeets that accept this diet may have drier droppings than they have on nectar.
For birds that are chronic egg-layers or birds with a tendency to develop hypocalcemia, such as African Greys, the provided feeding note recommends mixing 2/3 Maintenance with 1/3 High-Energy Breeder to supply more calcium and vitamin D3. Do not give additional vitamin or mineral supplements. Fresh fruit and vegetable treats may be given as a minor part of the diet.
